Onyebuchi Franklin Odurukwe, professionally known as Bucci Franklin, was born on June 9th.
The Nigerian superstar was born and raised in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. He hails from Nkwerre in Imo State, Nigeria.
Education
For his basic education (elementary and secondary education), Bucci Franklin attended Bereton Primary School and New Covenant Secondary School respectively.
Receiving both his First School Leaving Certificate and his West African Examination Certificate certifications in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Onyebuchi Franklin Odurukwe is a university graduate.
Very active in on-stage performances in his university years, Franklin studied and bagged a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theatre Arts from the prestigious University of Abuja, Nigeria.
Career
Bucci Franklin began acting while he was at the University of Abuja and went straight into Nollywood after he graduated from the higher institution.
He worked as a presenter with Love FM 104.5 Abuja where he co-anchored the “Morning Show” and solo anchored “Abuja on the Move”.
Bucci Franklin hosts a popular TV show “Rising Stars” on Nigerian Television Authority (NTA).He participated in the “Spirited Actor Competition,” in 2012 and emerged as one of the top five contestants to represent Nigeria in the United States of America.
