Sani Musa Danja or Sani Musa Abdullahi, popularly known as Sani Danja is a famous Nigerian actor, singer and director in the Hausa film industry.
Sani Danja was born on April 20, 1973 in Fagge local government, Kanon, Nigeria to his father Alhaji Musa Abdullahi and Hajiya Risikat. He is the eldest of seven children born to his parents.
He got the name ‘Danja’ originally from his childhood because he was said to be very stubborn and persistent in his childhood.
Sani attended Yan Sanda Primary School from 1979 to 1980, Sani then continued to Government Junior Secondary School Kawaji, from 1985 to 1989, he went to Rumfa College to complete his secondary education in 1989 to 1991 .
He then continued his further education with a secondment to FCE Kano where he successfully obtained an NCE certificate.
In the pursuit of his education, Sani had the opportunity to continue his studies where he completed his studies of Advance Diploma in Public Administration where he remained until 2004.
He first entered the Hausa film industry that is Kannywood in the year 1999 with his film ‘Dalibai’, a film he created and showed with his partner Yakubu Muhammad.

After the success of his movie (Students), there was another movie called ‘Adon Kishiya’ in the year 2000, and then another movie called ‘Kwarya tabi Kwarya’, the big movie he made with actress Jamila Haruna in year 2000.
In April, 2009, Sani Danja was involved in a car accident on the Kano-Kaduna road, where he fractured his leg.
