We recognize this is major problem and infact a nuisance so we have decided to come up with a post on how to disable Facebook audio autoplay on Chrome, Android and IOS.
How to Disable Facebook Audio Autoplay on Chrome
Thankfully, there are many developers all over the world working hard to develop new concepts every day. A Chrome extension, called Disable HTML5 Autoplay does this job perfectly. The best thing about this is that it’s free to download, it works for all websites forcefully auto playing audios on videos. When activated, the extension gives a notifications on top of the screen as to not playing the video.
Go here and click on the ADD TO CHROME button to activate.
How to Disable Facebook Audio Autoplay on Android
You would soon be prompted to update your Facebook application if you haven’t yet, this enables audio sounds to start playing on videos automatically.
Tap on the three tiny parallel lines button showing beside the notifications icon.
Locate Settings, then Account Settings
Click on Sounds
Use the toggle option to turn off ‘Video in News Feed Start With Sound’

You would soon be prompted to update your Facebook application if you haven’t yet, this enables audio sounds to start playing on videos automatically.
