Teniola Apata (born 23 December 1992), professionally known as Teni the Entertainer, is a Nigerian-American singer, songwriter and entertainer.
Her hit song, “Case” Produced by Jaysynths, officially released on October 19, 2018, gave her global prominence.
The song won Best Pop Single at The Headies 2019.
“Case” is a mid-tempo Afrobeats track that was produced by Jaysynths. Recorded primarily in Nigerian pidgin, its lyrics revolve around a girl going the extra mile to get the attention of her love interest.
In 2019, Teni was featured on YouTube’s Artist on the Rise platform. As a result of the recognition, her videos were promoted on YouTube’s U.S trending page, in social media ads, and at fan event appearances.
