Indiana Wesleyan University (IWU) is a private evangelical Christian university headquartered in Marion, Indiana, and affiliated with the Wesleyan Church. It is the largest private university in Indiana.
The university system includes IWU—Marion, where nearly 3,000 students are enrolled in traditional programs on the main campus in Marion and IWU-National & Global which consists of 6,800 adult learners who study online or onsite at 15 education centers in Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio. In addition 535 graduate students are currently enrolled at Wesley Seminary.
IWU offers more than 80 undergraduate degrees and 57 graduate degrees including nine doctoratal degrees. Its students represent more than 80 Christian denominations and come from 11 countries.

Eligibility Criteria for Indiana Wesleyan University
International Scholarship will be awarded to first-time incoming freshman and transfer international students. This scholarship replaces the academic scholarship with the exception of those meeting the academic scholarship requirements ranging from $11,000 to $16,000. Students meeting the higher academic scholarship criteria will have the $10,000 International Scholarship replaced by the higher academic award.

How To Apply Indiana Wesleyan Scholarships
- Academic requirements: Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.6 on a 4.0 scale (freshman student) or 2.0 on a 4.0 scale (transfer student)*
- Personal requirements: Applicants must agree to abide by the University’s community guidelines and behavioral expectations
- First Time Freshman Required Documents: In addition to a complete application, applicants are required to request from their current or most recent high school, an official transcript be sent to IWU. NOTE: While not required for admission, if any dual credit classes have been completed from a college or university, those official transcripts must come directly from the college/university to IWU for consideration.
- Transfer Required Documents: In addition to a complete application, applicants are required to request all official transcripts from colleges or universities attended be sent to IWU.
