Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran popularly known as Jandor, is a Nigerian politician, journalist, entrepreneur, and technocrat.
He is the chairman of Lagos4Lagos movement and the Lagos State Gubernatorial candidate under the People’s Democratic Party with his running mate, Funke Akindele.
He is a recipient of the 2021 Honorary Doctorate in Leadership and Governance by South American University, Lagos, Nigeria.
FAMILY
Jandor was born into the family of Alhaji Adeniran and Late Mrs Ruth Oluwafunmilayo Adeniran on 25 November 1977 in Mushin Area of Lagos State.
He is married to Maryam Olajide Adediran and they have two children; Fareedah Oluwamayokun Amoke and Fadhilulah Oluwamurewa Adedayo Akanniade Olajide-Adediran.
EDUCATION
Jandor is a graduate of The Polytechnic Ibadan; Modul University, Vienna; the Howard University School of Business, Washington DC, USA; and Oxford University, Oxford, United Kingdom.
CAREER
Jandor started his career with Journalism and he was a journalist for more than twenty years.
He eventually ventured into politics as a member of APC.
He was the convener of the movement of Lagos4Lagos, a movement under the APC.
He eventually defected to PDP and he is currently their gubernatorial candidate of the 2023 Lagos gubernatorial election.
He is currently Chairman and Group CEO of Core Media Group, a conglomerate consisting several other companies including CoreTvNews, a 24hr digital terrestrial television station; he is Chairman Datanet Project Services, an oil installation and procurement services company; Chairman, The Floral Consult; Owner, Core-Bet, a Casino and Sports Betting firm; and Chairman/Lead Visioner, Jandor Foundation, a privately run non-governmental organization solely established to empower and liberate the less privileged, especially in Lagos.
About six aspirants showed interest in contesting the PDP Lagos 2023 governorhsip flagbearer position.
They were: Olajide Adediran, Adedeji Doherty, Rhodes Gbadebo, Ade Dosunmu, David Kolawole, and Otunba Jimi Karmal, David Vaughan.

Jandor eventually emerges the PDP Gubernatorial Candidate for the 2023 election.
Mr Emmanuel Ogidi, Chairman of the Lagos PDP Electoral Committee/Returning Officer, announced the results in Ikeja, saying Adediran received 679 votes to defeat his opponent, Mr David Vaughan, who received 20 votes.
709 ad hoc delegates were recognised for the election, according to Ogidi, who highlighted that there were 775 ad hoc delegates for the primary.
