LeBron James Helps LA Lakers Beat Rockets In Grand Style
NBA legend, LeBron James was in his best element earlier today as he helped his team, Los Angeles Lakers to defeat Houston Rockets.
To defeat the Houston Rockets and move even closer to breaking the NBA record for points, LeBron James scored a season-high 48 points.
In the 140-132 victory, James led his team in scoring and has now scored more than 35 points in five of the last seven games.
With 38,072 career points, he is 315 points short of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s record.
LeBron James helped LA Lakers to grab the win over Houston Rockets on Tuesday, over 24 hours after the NBA team suffered a 113-112 defeat at the hands of the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday.
In other NBA Finals on Tuesday, the Boston Celtics defeated the Charlotte Hornets 130-118 thanks to 51 points by Jayson Tatum, including two three-pointers in the closing 64 seconds.
Tatum now holds the franchise record with five regular-season games of 50 points or more.
Boston has improved their advantage at the top of the Eastern Conference with seven straight victories.
Additionally, Stephen Curry scored a game-high 41 points to help the Golden State Warriors defeat the Washington Wizards 127-118.
The Memphis Grizzlies defeated the Phoenix Suns 136-106 to extend their winning streak to ten games. They are now second in the Western Conference, just behind the Denver Nuggets.
