Cristiano Ronaldo Debuted a New Goal Celebration After Scoring His First Goal of 2024 on Wednesday Night

Cristiano Ronaldo Performs New Celebration After Scoring His First Goal Since Turning 39.

Ronaldo netted the only goal of the game in the 81st minute to give Al Nassr a 1-0 win over fellow Saudi side Al Feiha in the first leg of their AFC Champions League round of 16 clash.

After playing a slick one-two with Marcelo Brozovic, Ronaldo beat the Al Feiha keeper with a cheeky first-time chip from nine yards.

This was Ronaldo’s 874th career goal, coming in his 1,000th club appearance.

It was also his first goal since celebrating his 39th birthday.

After finding the net on Wednesday, Ronaldo sprinted towards the corner flag and initially looked as though he was going to perform his famous ‘SIU’ celebration as he jumped into the air.

But instead of spinning and spreading his arms, he decided to close his eyes before bringing both hands to his chest

Ronaldo’s goal gave Al Nassr the victory that their domination had deserved.

Al Nassr finished Wednesday’s game having recorded 14 shots – 12 more than Al Feiha – and having had 77% of possession.

The second leg will take place at Al Nassr’s King Saud University Stadium on February 21.
