Early Life
Terem Moffi was born on the 25th of May, 1999, in Calabar, the capital city of Cross River state, which falls among the states in the South-South geopolitical zone of Nigeria. Leo, Moffi’s father, was a goalie for a Nigerian professional football team.
International Career
Moffi was a member of Nigeria’s former head coach Gernot Rohr’s 31-man squad as of May 14th, 2021. On June 4, 2021, Moffi made his Super Eagles debut in a 1-0 loss to Cameroon. He was a member of the team that destroyed So Tomé and Principe 10 goals to 0 in the June 2022 AFCON qualification match for the 2023 tournament. In the mouthwatering game, he scored twice.
Club career
Moffi left Nigeria and moved to England to join the Buckswood Football Academy at Hastings, East Sussexat the age of 17, and thereafter moved to Lithuania with Kauno Žalgiris. He eventually joined Riteriai, but had visa issues that delayed his debut. Moffi eventually scored 20 goals in 29 leagues games for Riteriai, and transferred to Belgian club Kortrijk in January 2020.On 1 October 2020, he signed with Lorient in the French Ligue 1.
