Biography
Keshinro Ololade (born March 17, 1995), who goes by the stage name, Lil Kesh, is an astonishing Nigerian singer, rapper and songwriter.
He rose to stardom after releasing a song titled Shoki. Shoki, which was attached to a dance style, gained a lot of positive reviews and has been remixed on two occasions; male and female versions.
So far, Lil Kesh has been nominated for awards a record four times, winning them twice. He joined forces with YBNL (Yahoo Boy No Laptop) Nation as a recording artist before signing under his own record label, Young And Getting It, YAGI Records.
Education
Ololade was born and raised in Bariga, an area in Lagos State. He attended Stockbridge College for his primary and secondary education, and then proceeded to the University of Lagos, where he studied Linguistics. Later, he moved on to the National Open University and studied Mass Communication online.

Lil Kesh started his career by attending several talent hunt competitions and winning some of them which made me quite popular in school.
His professional music career started in 2012 but he became popular in 2014 after he recorded his first single titled “Lyrically” which was positively accepted mainly by students in Nigerian universities. His friend, Viktoh who is signed to the YBNL label shared his song with YBNL boss Olamide and on 2 April 2014, he signed his first music contract with YBNL Nation.
After signing on to YBNL Nation, Lil Kesh released “Shoki” which brought him into the spot light.
On 23 February 2015, Kesh released a song titled “Gbese” which was produced by Young Jonn with the music video featuring cameo appearances from Skuki. He released another banging hit song mid 2015, “Efejoku” featuring label mate Viktor.
On March 17, 2016, he released his debut studio album titled Y.A.G.I featuring guest appearances from notable music acts including Olamide, Phyno, Davido, Adekunle Gold, YCEE, Wale, Viktor and Patoranking.
He has been criticised heavily for using too much vulgar sentences and not finding the right balance in the lyrics of his songs. The rapper responded to this by saying the target audience for most of his songs were the street people, and that he had to connect with them.
On April 26, 2016, he announced via Instagram that he has established his own label imprint called YAGI (Young And Getting It) Records with Olamide later confirming the news through the same medium following the expiration of Lil Kesh’s 2-year recording contract with YBNL Nation.
