Rotary Peace Fellowship Program 2023-25 | Fully Funded

Rotary International offers fully funded Rotary Peace Fellowship for Masters Degree and Professional Development Certificates for young professionals worldwide.

Each year, Rotary selects up to 90 peace and development leaders from around the world to receive fully funded academic fellowships to pursue a Professional Development Certificate Program or Masters Degree Program related to peace and conflict resolution and prevention at one of the participating peace centers around the world (USA, Japan, UK, Australia, Sweden, Uganda)

Rotary Peace Fellowships are awarded to up to 150 students each year. These fellowships are offered to pursue a Professional Development Certificate Program or Masters Degree Program related to peace and conflict resolution and prevention.

Since the program began in 2002, the Rotary Peace Centers have trained more than 1,400 fellows who now work in more than 115 countries. Many serve as leaders in governments, NGOs, the military, education, law enforcement, and international organizations like the United Nations and the World Bank.

Eligibility Criteria For Rotary Peace Fellowship

  • Have three years of related work experience for the master’s program
    Have five years of related work experience for the certificate program and be able to explain how their plan to promote peace aligns with Rotary’s mission (Candidates for Makerere University must either be from Africa, have worked in Africa, or work with African communities or initiatives outside the continent.)
    Be proficient in English (Master’s candidates whose first language is not English must provide English language standardized test scores.)
    Have a bachelor’s degree (Master’s candidates must provide a copy of their transcripts.)
     Demonstrate leadership skills
    Have a strong commitment to cross-cultural understanding and peace worked in Africa, or work with African communities or initiatives outside the continent.

How to Apply for Rotary Peace Fellowships?

  • The candidates have to submit their applications to the Rotary Foundation online.
  • Provide all the relevant documents.
  • Submit your endorsement online from the fellowship subcommittee till 1st July.
  • The confirmation of receiving the endorsement and application will be sent.
