By default, WhatsApp comes with a beautifully designed interface, and most people don’t bother changing the wallpaper. However, some people love customization of all their properties, and wouldn’t want WhatsApp to go customized. If you are one of these people, your only option is to change your WhatsApp wallpaper.

How to Change WhatsApp Wallpaper on Android and IOS
To change WhatApp wallpaper, you have to first navigate to the wallpaper settings. When you get to the settings, there are three available options: you either select a picture in your Gallery and set it as the wallpaper; or you select a solid colour (i.e a plain colour); or you install what is called a WhatsApp Wallpaper package.
The WhatsApp Wallpaper package is designed by WhatsApp Inc., the developer of WhatsApp, therefore the package gives you room to choose more wallpapers from the developer.
The Steps:
On your WhatsApp, tap on Settings.
Option 1: tap on Gallery to select a picture form your Gallery and set it as your WhatsApp wallpaper.
Option 2: tap on Solid Color to make a solid colour your WhatsApp wallpaper.
Option 3: tap on WhatsApp Library to select a wallpaper from the library. If the library isn’t installed you will see the message below. Tap on OK, and you will be taken to Play Store, where you will install the library.
Install the Wallpaper, and choose one of the available wallpapers as your WhatsApp wallpaper.
