Apple will Reportedly Announce AirPods Pro 2 this Wednesday

Apple’s “Far Out” September event takes place this Wednesday, and the company is expected to unveil the new iPhone 14 phones and updated Apple Watch models. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, we can also expect to see the second-generation AirPods Pro earbuds at the event.

The new AirPods Pro will update a model that first went on sale in October 2019,” Gurman shared in his Power On newsletter. “I reported last year that new AirPods Pro would arrive in 2022, and now I’m told that Wednesday will be their big unveiling.”

The AirPods Pro 2 will feature the new H1 processor and upgraded sound quality. The earbuds might come with support for Apple’s Lossless Audio Codec (ALAC). The AirPods and Apple Watch are one of Apple’s best-performing products in the market, amounting to 10 percent of its revenue.

Apple is expected to announce four new iPhone 14 models at the “Far Out” event – two Pro models and two standard versions. The iPhone 14 Pro will reportedly have 6.1-inch display, while the iPhone 14 Pro Max will feature a 6.7-inch display. The standard versions will be a 6.1-inch iPhone 14 and a 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Plus.
