Early Life & Education
Erica Nlewedim was born on March 13, 1994, to her parents, Eric Nlewedim Christian and Oby Nwokolo. She hails from Umuahia, Abia State, Nigeria. She is an only child and was raised in Lagos by her mother.
She had her secondary school education at Victory Grammar School in Lagos and was later transferred to Command Secondary School in Ikeja.
Erica graduated from high school and gained admission into the university at Covenant University, one of the top Nigerian private universities in Ota, Ogun State, to pursue a degree in Business Administration.
In 2013, she graduated from university at the age of 19. Six years later, she flew to the United Kingdom to study Acting for Film at the Met Film School in London. She returned to Lagos and currently lives in Lagos.

Upon arrival back to Nigeria, Erica took up acting as a career, and ever since then, has been doing well.
Before returning to Nigeria, Erica was already been featured in so many movies in the UK, one of which she said to be part of her greatest achievements.
Erica has participated in quite a number of Nollywood movies as well, and some of them are; Secrets and Scandals, Poka Messiah, Hire A Woman (where she played the supporting role), and many others.
She also featured in a few seasons of the “Royal Castle” TV series.
Apart from being an actress, Erica is also an ex-model and was among the participants of the 2014 Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria pageant show.
She is also one of the brand ambassadors of Maltina, Peak Milk, Access Bank, Nature Gentle Touch, Zaron Cosmetics, and a few other brands within and outside the country.
Erica happens to be one of the human activists in Nigeria and the founder of the Erica Nlewedim Foundation. The organization is an NGO established to provide for the poor and less-privileged ones.
Erica is also a participant in the Big Brother Naija reality show season 5, also known as BBNaija Lockdown. She is in the house alongside other housemates like Nengi, Laycon, Ozo, etc.
