Apaokagi Maryam Abisola Also known as Taaooma she is a Nigerian Instagram Comedian and Cinematographer. Taaooma started in 2015 after she met her Boyfriend “Abula” Who taught her The Art Of Shooting, Directing and Editing.
Early Life & Education
Taaooma was born In Ilorin, Kwara state on 28th of February 1999 into a family of Five (5) and Last Born of the Family,
Maryam Attended Dolastar Primary school, Adewole, Ilorin Kwara state. In 2009 Taaooma and her parent traveled out of Nigeria to Namibia, a country in Southern African, She went to Amazing Kids Private School & Academy and she finished her secondary school at Concordia College, Windhoek, Namibia
In 2015, Maryam Abisola Returned back to Nigeria and gained admission into Kwara State University Malate, also known as KWASU, in Ilorin where she studied Tourism and Hospitality
She completed her National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) On the 17th of July 2020 In Lagos state, Nigeria, and was given a Certificate.
Career
It has been a while Taaooma started her career in comedy, she actually started in 2015 and as time goes she began to win the interest of many people and now she is one of the most sought comedians in Nigeria, she came into limelight in 2016. Not minding her comedy style which portrays a typical Yoruba woman attitude in the family, most people from various tribes in Nigeria love to watch her do her thing.
She loves to mimic our Yoruba mothers, African mothers response to their children and this is usually hilarious, we must give it to her, she is good at what she does.
One wonders how dramatic her mom would be for her to perfectly act as a mother. A recent interview with Taaooma made us know that her boyfriend Abdulazeez actually helped her and encouraged her to start a comedy skit after finding out how funny his girlfriend is.
Abdulazeez is a music video director and his contribution has really propelled Taaooma’s success in the entertainment industry. With love in the air and how closely bonded these love birds are, they came up with a video production company named Greenade which is into video production and plans set down already to make home videos.
Personal Life
Apaokagi Maryam was born on the 27th of February 1999 to Mr. and Mrs. Apaokagi in Ilorin Kwara State Nigeria which is her hometown. She is a Muslim by faith and a Yoruba descent. Her mom’s faith which is Islam influenced her and this made her very devoted that is the reason why you see her always having a scarf around her either on her comedy videos or in public places.

Is Taaooma married? In October 2020, Apaokagi engaged her fiancé Abdulaziz Oladimeji (aka. Abula) in Namibia and got married on 24 January 2021.

On 8 November 2020, she was part of The Future Awards Africa: Class of 2020 for the prize of content creation (YouTubers, Vloggers). Apaokagi also made The Guardian Nigeria’s list of 100 Most Inspiring Women in the country.
