Mr Eazi is the pioneer of the famous Banku music which is a fusion of Ghanaian bounces, Ghanaian highlife, Nigerian chord progressions, and Nigerian patterns. While in Ghana, he launched his music career in 2012 with the single “Pipi Dance” before going on to collaborate with the U.K. based DJ Juls on the track “Bankulize” (featuring Pappy Kojo) a year later.
In July 2013, Mr Eazi released his debut mixtape, ‘About to Blow’ which was a chart topper and like a prophecy, in 2015, he released “Skin Tight” featuring Efya and produced by DJ Juls which literally ‘blew’ him into the spotlight. In September 2016,Terry G collaborated with Mr Eazi to release a remix of the song and in April 2017, ‘Skin Tight’ was featured in an ad for the vodka brand Ciroc
In 2016, he became affiliated to the Starboy Worldwide record label although he maintains that he is not signed to the record but only doing ‘buisness’ with them. He got featured on Eugy’s hit single ‘Dance for Me’ in thesame year, the single was later included in the Guardian Newspaper’s list of the 10 biggest African tracks of 2016 and on February 10, 2017, he released the mixtape ‘Life Is Eazi, Vol. 1: Accra to Lagos’ under Starboy Worldwide imprint.The album included singles like ‘Leg Over’ and ‘Tilapia’ and went on to debut at number four on the Billboard World Albums chart.
Since coming into the music scene, Mr Eazi has collaborated with the likes of Sarkodie, Lil Kesh, Burna Boy, Big Lean, Tekno, Phyno and DJ Cuppy and has been nominated for several awards including

In order to chase his dreams, Mr Eazi had to quit a well-paid job in an Oil and Gas in Port Harcourt that paid about six thousand dollars (equivalent to N2.1 million) per month because he was not finding fufilment in it, even going as far as selling phones in computer village.
Apart from music, Mr Eazi who gets his enterprenural skills from his Parents is also into soft drinks importing, gold mining, and food distribution.

Mr. Eazi was denied participation in the 2016 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards because he was not a Ghanaian citizen. He is currently in a relationship with Temi Otedola who is the daughter of billionaire Femi Otedola.
