The Nigerian Maritime University (NMU) is a federal university located in Okerenkoko, Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State, Nigeria.
The university was established in 2015 by the Nigerian government as part of its effort to develop the maritime sector of the country’s economy. The university is the first of its kind in Nigeria and the entire West African region, dedicated solely to maritime education and training.
