Bitcoin (BTC), the world’s oldest cryptocurrency, managed to climb above the $23,000 mark for the first time since June last year, just before the LUNA collapse wiped off billions from the market. Other popular altcoins — including the likes of Dogecoin (DOGE), Litecoin (LTC), Ripple (XRP), and Solana (SOL) — registered gains across the board.
The Aptos (APT) token emerged to be the biggest gainer, with a massive 24-hour jump of nearly 47 percent. Bitcoin SV (BSV) became the biggest loser, with a comparatively minor 24-hour dip of nearly 3 percent.
The global crypto market cap stood at $1.05 trillion at the time of writing, registering a 24-hour gain of 3.05 percent.
