Prince Jide Kosoko Biography
Prince Jide Kosoko was born on January 12, 1954 to the Kosoko royal family of Lagos Island. He had both his primary and secondary school education in Lagos island andin Ebute Metta, Lagos and attended Yaba College of Education, Yaba where he studied Business Administration. Also, at age 60, Jide attended Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye, Ogun State where he studied Performing Arts.

Jide Kosoko Personal Life
Kosoko has been married four times. He is currently married to Nollywood actress, Henrietta Kosoko and Alhaja Kareemat Kosoko. They both are blessed with children including Sola Kosoko, Bidemi Kosoko, and Tunji Kosoko and grandchildren such as Oluwasindara Abina. He lost his first and second wife to untimely death few years back.
Jide Kosoko Career
Kosoko was one of the founding members of the Association of Nigerian Theatre Arts Practitioners. He became an executive member under the late Hubert Ogunde. He started out as PRO and rose to become the president of the Assocation. He commenced his acting career in 1964 at the age of 10-years in a television production, Makanjuola. He produced the Nollywood film titled Asiri Nla in 1992. He has featured in several Nollywood movies of both English and Yoruba Genres. The movies include; The Figurine released in 2009, I’ll Take My Chances released in 2011, Last Flight to Abuja released in 2012 and The Department released in 2015.
