The renowned Nigerian movie actress Nuella Njubigbo was born in the early ’80s to the family of Mr. and Mrs. Njubigbo.
Born on 18th March 1984, Nuella is a native of Anambra State; a State in the South-Eastern part of Nigeria.
Being an indigene, she had both her elementary and high school education in Anambra State. Expectedly, she obtained both her First School Leaving Certificate and West African School Certificate therein.
Later, Nuella gained admission into the prestigious Imo State University (IMSU), where she studied and bagged a Bachelor’s Degree in Government and Public Administration.
She served in Delta State, Nigeria during her National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) one year program.

When she was 15, Nuella Njubigbo began her professional career in the Nigerian film industry, also known as Nollywood.
“Royal Destiny,” her first film, went on to become a Nollywood blockbuster. She rose to prominence shortly after her debut film was released.
She has worked with well-known Nollywood actors such as Pete Edochie, Genevieve Nnaji, Patience Ozokwor, Uche Jombo, Ramsey Noah, Mercy Johnson, Ken Erics, John Okafor, and Desmond Elliot, to name a few.
Nuella Njubigbo Personal Life
Nuella got married to film director Tchidi Chikere in her family compound in Anambra State on March 29, 2014. This was a traditional wedding for her. Her court marriage came up later that year. In addition, three years later, on June 9, 2018, she had her white wedding. On December 2, 2014, the couple welcomed their daughter.
Their wedding was widely publicized for several days, owing to the groom’s previous marriage to another actress, Sophia Williams, who had three children with Sophia.
Despite public outrage, Tchidi explained the reasons for his previous marriage’s dissolution.
Nuella has a daughter from her marriage. The couple unfollowed each other on Instagram on May 22nd, 2021, sparking speculation that the marriage had ended.
