Segun Padonou Aina (known as Segun Arinze) was born on September 24th, 1965 in Onitsha, Anambra State, Nigeria. His father is of the Yoruba tribe from Badagry, Lagos State, while his mother is of the Igbo tribe. Segun is a Nigerian actor, producer, director, voice over artist and singer.

Career
Segun Arinze started as a musician. His career started in the entertainment industry – music – in 1992. Then, he produced his first album – which notably is his debut album. It was titled, “Dreams.”
Shortly after starting a career in the music industry, Segun got a feature in a movie. This feature gave him many things among which the nickname was inclusive. Notably, the name he answered in the movie “Black Arrow,” was his nickname as at then.
Segun rose to prominence after featuring in that movie.
