Rita Dominic Biography
Rita Dominic was born on the 12th of July 1975 to the royal Nwaturuocha family of Aboh Mbaise local government area in Imo State. Her full names are Rita Uchenna Nkem Dominic Nwaturuocha, and she is the last of four children of her parents.
Her late parents were both medical practitioners. Her father was a medical doctor while her mother was a nursing officer. She attended the Federal Government College Ikot Ekpene, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria for her secondary education. Afterwards, she had her undergraduate studies at the University of Port Harcourt, where she studied Theatre Arts and graduated with a BA (Honors) Degree in 1999.
EDUCATION
Dominic completed her secondary school education in the prestigious Federal Government College, Ikot Ekpene, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria, before heading to the University of Port Harcourt, where she graduated with a BA (Honours) Degree in Theatre Arts in 1999.
Career
As a child, Rita participated in school plays, and children television shows in Imo State, where she was living at the time. She starred in her first movie – A Time to Kill in 1998. Thus far, Rita Dominic has starred in over 100 Nollywood movie productions.
