Ngozi Ezeonu was born on May 23, 1965, to Mr. and Mrs. D.O. Ikp. She is a native of Ogbunike, Anambra State, Nigeria. She is one of the two female children of her parents and she has five other male siblings.
Education
Information about Ezeonu’s early education is unknown, however, she obtained a Diploma Degree in Journalism and later worked as a Journalist.
Ngozi Ezeonu Career
Ezeonu began her career as a Journalist. Before becoming a journalist, she worked as a hairstylist. She ventured into the movie industry in 1993. That same year, she played a leading role in the movie Nneka the Pretty Serpent. Her performance was outstanding and the movie became a blockbuster. She started getting more acting offers. She starred in another movie titled Glamour Girls which also became a hit movie.
Ezeonu has featured in many blockbuster movies including; Dry My Tears, Women of Faith, Shattered Mirror, Jay Boy Obodo Oyibo’, ‘Suicide King’, Ego Mbute, In The Beginning, A Private Storm, About to Wed, Chimobi, Mother of Faith, Love of a Daughter, Child of Pain, and Royal Adventure. In 2012, she performed the leading role in Adesuwa, it was a decisive part that helped her to gain an award for the Best actress at the 8th ceremony of granting Films Academy Awards in Africa.
