Liz Da-Silva was born on the 10th of June, 1978, in Lagos State, which falls in the South-Western region of Nigeria. He hails from Togo because her parent is of Togo descent. Liz Da-Silva had all her educational background in Lagos State, ranging from primary school, secondary school, and higher institution. She had her secondary school education in Ireti Grammar School. She went further to study at Lagos State University, where she later obtained her B.Sc degree.

Liz Da Silva has had a passion for acting right from when she was in secondary school, she usually takes part in the school drama and stage play. She has this love for Yoruba movies which prompted her to start acting in Yoruba movies.

Her first major big movie with the Nollywood industry was in the movie titled “Ore I’ore Nwoto”. She also featured in Mama Insurance which other top Nollywood stars were involved such as Lanre Hassan, Ronke Ojo, Iyabo Ojo and others.
She became so famous in the Yoruba movie industry after she was featured in two Yoruba movies and played a superior role, the movies by Wale Lawal titled “Wakati Meta” and an Iyabo Ojo movie titled “Omidan”.
She is a very talented actress int the Nollywood industry and can fit into any character assigned to her. She is also well known for her interpretation of roles in movies. Aside from acting Liz Da-Silva is also a movie producer and has produced several Yoruba movies. She produced a top movie in 2012 titled “Mama Insurance”, the movie featured top Yoruba actors and actresses such as Iyabo Ojo, Ronke Ojo, Lanre Hassan, Ayo Mogaji and Doris Simon.

Liz Da Silva is happily married, she got married on the 17th of October 2020. Her husband’s name is undisclosed. Before she got married, her previous relationship was with Yemi Olaoye, their relationship was blessed with a son named Abdulroheem Olasunkanmi.
