She originates from Delta State, Nigeria. However, her family lives in Lagos, and she was born in Ikeja.
Her family is a polygamous type, and the family has no kids. She started her education at Maryland Primary School in Lagos, and she proceeded to Maryland Comprehensive Secondary School in Lagos state.
Upon passing out of secondary school, Fathia Balogun got admitted to Kwara State Polytechnic, from where she obtained an Ordinary National Diploma certificate.
She later got admitted to Olabisi Onabanjo University, where she studied Filming.
Education
Idowu had her elementary education at African Methodist School before heading to Anglican Modern School for her secondary education.
She then proceeded to be trained as a nurse afterwards.
Acting career
Fathia Balogun did not want to go into acting from inception. However, she started acting after Alhaji Fatai Teniola, one of her uncles, asked her to take up the role of an actress that failed to show up at a movie location on time.
This was how she recorded her first acting experience, and the movie involved is titled Ta lo pa Chief.
Over the years, Fathia Balogun has been involved in acting, producing, and directing several Nollywood movies.
