Early Life and Education
Ayo was born in Orile Agege, Lagos State, Nigeria into the family of Mr. and Mrs. Olaiya born on February 26, while his year of birth is still unknown. He is the third child in a family of five. He attended Oke Odo Senior High School, Ile Epo, Lagos State, Nigeria, and also obtained a bachelor’s degree in Entrepreneurial and Business Management.
Career
Ayo Olaiya was born into theatre practitioner’s family, where his parents co-founded a local theatre group called Oluwalomona Eda Theatre Group.
He joined the Nigerian movie industry in 2004.
He produced the movie “Wura Mi” and had also starred in numerous movies such as The Target, Above Rubies, Eyan Kan, Olowogbogboro, Exchange, and so on.
Ayo has worked with the likes of Ibrahim chata, Segun Ogungbe, Saheed Balogun, Kemi Afolabi, Wale Akorede, Adeniyi Johnson, Bukunmi Oluwasina, Kenny George, Jumoke Odetola and many others.

Ayo Olaiya is known to be a celebrity who does not put much about his life on the media for public consumption. It would interest you to know that the legendary Victor Abimbola Olaiya OON, also known as Dr. Victor Oliaya is Ayo Oaiya’s father. He was a trumpeter from Nigeria who specialized in highlife music. Dr. Olaiya was born on December 31, 1930, and passed away on February 12, 2020. Mrs. Olaiya is Ayo Olaiya’s mother who is still very much alive.
