Education

Nkosi started his educational journey, both primary and secondary, in some of the accredited local schools in South Africa. He got his basic education and matric certificate from these schools and further enrolled at Fuda Academy for Dramatic Arts in 1989. 

He graduated with a Diploma in Arts which cut across acting, directing, film and television, in 1992. He also attended the Centurion Academic College to further his studies.

Career

Nimrod Nkosi has distinguished himself as an almost irreplaceable TV presenter and actor. He once worked as a presenter for a living Lotto draw on e.tv and SABC2 and hosted the Jam Alley Show.

His success story started with a role in the U Bambo Lwami TV series in 1994 before getting an opportunity to feature in Pale Toe. He also secured roles in The Last Hope, Soul City, Scandal! and The Wild.

As a Presenter and Host, he worked on TV shows; Your Late Mate on Soweto TV and Jam Alley where he spent five years.


He also hosted a ‘Raise Your Game‘ lotto show with former Miss South Africa, Vanessa Carreira, and John 14.


Nimrod Nkosi is currently the host of the Mzansi Magic docu-reality series, Utatakho.

Nimrod Nkosi is said to be married to Charlene Nkosi.
