2023: Vote For PDP To Continue Fight Against Insecurity – Ortom Canvasses Votes For Uba

The Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom has told electorates in the state to vote for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for a continuos fight against insecurity in the state.

The governor said it is only the PDP that has the interest of the people in mind as regard insecurity in the state.

reports that Ortom told electorates in the Konshisha and Gwer East local government areas to vote for the party’s governorship candidate, Titus Uba for him to continue the fight against the insecurity ravaging most parts of the country.

Ortom said, is only the PDP administration that cares about the security of Benue people, noting that the PDP would strengthen the fight against insecurity and other challenges in the state.

The governor, who led the PDP campaign train to the local government areas in Tse-Agberaga and Aliade advanced that Uba has a track record of performance serving as Speaker of the state House of Assembly.

He added that he has no doubt that Uba would continue to build on the achievements in the area of security and fight against terrorists who wants to take over the state’s ancestral lands.

Ortom while speaking about his senatorial ambition, explained that he will collaborate with his colleagues, Senators Gabriel Suswam and Abba Moro to back Uba as Governor to tackle the challenges confronting the state if elected at the polls to represent Benue North-West.

Also giving his remark at the campaign event, Uba expressed optimism that the people would vote for candidates of the party including the governor.

He noted that for the people to demonstrate a firm commitment to the interest of the Benue people, Ortom and Suswam should be voted into the National Assembly.

The Benue State PDP governorship candidate advanced that “for me, it is homecoming,” and he is sure the people would vote for him and other party candidates.

On his part, the Acting State Chairman of PDP, Isaac Mffo at the occasion welcomed defectors from other political parties into the PDP.

The Director, State Campaign Management Committee, Dr Cletus Tyokyaa also noted that the party remains unbeatable as all its candidates were experienced people who will add value to governance when elected.
