For the YEA Recruitment 2022, the Youth Employment Agency’s authorities is inviting applications from qualified individuals. The Youth Employment Agency is advertising for qualified Ghanaians to work as Community Health Workers and Assistants to Community Police.
Only short-listed applicants who successfully complete the CHW training programme will be engaged.
ROLE OF THE COMMUNITY HEALTH WORKERS
The Community Health Worker is not a health professional; rather, he or she is a person who the YEA recruits from the community in which they reside and who has received basic training to act as a service delivery bridge between the various communities and service delivery points, making the work of community health nurses, community health officers, and midwives in the various communities easier.
