Eligibility to Get Twitter Account Verified
Because Twitter is opening the verification process does not mean every Tom, Dick and Harry will get the blue badge. Some Twitter users accounts are not just fit for verification merely looking at them, some users in Nigeria have many user IDs people would not want to associate with; usernames like ‘FunnyCator, Punthief, GrimReaper, etc.’ with names such as ‘Wizkid’s lover, Davido’s boo, mama slayer, Rich dick’ and all kind of vicious names.
To be eligible for verification, your account must have all this:
A know real name
A profile photo
A header photo
A bio
Confirmed e-mail address
A verified phone number
A website
Date of birth
Tweets must not be protected (Private)

Enter your username and click on next. If you meet all the criteria above you are directed to fill a form and upload necessary document(s) if required. You will be notified via email as to the progress with the verification.
