Gbemi Anthonia Adefuye popularly known as Toni Tones is an award winning Nigerian photographer, singer, actress and media personality born on July 20.Toni Tones is the youngest child in a family of five. She has a brother who is a musician and part of the group “Oxygen” which included Paul Ik Dairo.
Education
Toni Tones started out with a basic primary education at Our Lady of apostle Primary School and then moved to Queens College in Lagos for her secondary Education.
Toni Tones Career
Toni developed a keen interest in Photography while in the university. She was coached in London by Subby and Sinem on photography for three months. Having rounded off her academic pursuits at the University of Lancaster, she returned to Nigeria in 2009 and kicked off her career as a show business photographer with the intent of chasing her dreams and conquering the photography, music and motion picture industry. The precision depicted in the images that she shot caused a lot of waves. Koko Mansion’s owner, DBanj was drawn to it, and she did a couple of jobs for him.
Her new age style of photography, that combined edge, attention to detail and fashion forward images quickly made her a favourite in the fashion and entertainment industry. She has worked with publications such as genevieve magazine, fab magazine, made magazine, sound city magazine, vanguard’s allure magazine, elan and much more. she has also worked with personalities suck as nneka, don jazzy, tiwa savage, banky w, wizkid, omawumi, waje, mo cheddah, sasha and many more.
Personal Life
Toni Tones has said her hobbies are what she does (like swimming and relaxing), reading books, watching her movies, and hanging out with others.
