PDP Hoping For Tinubu’s Betrayal In The North, APC’s Lost Will Be 11th Wonder – Keyamo

The chief spokesperson of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council, Festus Keyamo (SAN) has downplayed the endorsement of the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, by former President Olusegun Obasanjo and elder statesman, Chief Edwin Clark.

reports that Obasanjo and Clark had recently backed the presidential ambition of the Labour Party flagbearer.

But speaking on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Tuesday, Keyamo, who is the Minister of State for Labour and Employment, said it would be an eleventh wonder if the APC’s candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, loses the forthcoming Presidential elections.

While expressing delight over Peter Obi’s endorsement, the APC chieftain stated that the said endorsement would have no effect on Tinubu’s presidential ambition.

According to him, Obasanjo and others had refused to endorse President Muhammadu Buhari in 2019, yet he won his re-election bid massively with over 15 million votes.

Keyamo said: “We are excited by their endorsement but I can assure you the Labour Party will not win. Also anywhere the G-5 consensus governors goes is a win-win for the APC. PDP are hoping for the betrayal of Asiwaju in the North.

Obasanjo, Ayo Adebanjo, Chief Edwin Clerk said the worst things about APC and Buhari’s re-election in 2019 and 15 million Nigerians did not listen to them.

They should not be sanctimonious before us. The Emilokan slogan was what Tinubu told APC delegates in Ogun State justifying that he has served the party. The opposition used it as propaganda a thousand times.”

On the chances of APC winning the presidential election, he said: “Based on projections, it would be an 11th wonder if we don’t win the election”.
