DSTV Now app for Android and IOS lets you watch live DSTV channels on the go from your mobile device. It’s an over the top internet streaming video service from MultiChoice which is linked to your main DSTV account and decoder.
With DSTV Now, you do not need to carry your decoder around to watch live contents, you only need to have a good mobile device, an active DSTV subscription and a good internet connection.
DSTV Now app is available free to all DSTV customers and one account can be used to steam on two devices.

The Live TV section on the DSTV Now app lets you watch live different channels from Sport, Entertainment, News and lots more. You can easily access all SuperSport channels, News channels like CNN, BBC and Movie channels like Mnet movies.
This live stream is available 24/7 just like when you watch on your TV with your DSTV decoder. Basically, you get the watch the DSTV subscription package plan you have on your decoder on your Android phone, iPhone and tablet.
TV Guide Schedule
Just like on your decoder, TV Guide is also available on the DSTV Now app. With it, you can plan your viewing every day to know the time your favourite shows, channels and particular programs are airing.
DStv Catch Up
Did you miss an episode of your favourite show? Do not worry as the Catch-Up section on the app lets you watch what has happened earlier. You have the access to stream again and download up to 25 videos on DStv Catch Up to enjoy offline later across 4 devices.
DSTV Now Registration – How to Register on DSTV Now App
You can either register with your mobile device or the DSTV Now website.
Download for Android or IOS.
Open app and tap on “Register”.
You will be asked to enter your smartcard number or your decoder IUC code. When I tried this on the app it failed so I used the website. If it fails, follow the website guide below.
Visit DSTV Now website and click on “Get Started”. Enter your smart card/IUC number.
You will be sent an OTP code on your phone which you will need to enter during the registration process.
Create a password. Sign in.
You will be sent a confirmation mail to activate your account. Open the link and you can now use the app to live stream and watch DSTV line anywhere on your mobile device.
